ABOUT THE DALÍ BOAT TOUR

The cultural boat tour aboard Gala, Salvador Dalí’s personal boat, departs from the public dock directly in front of the Salvador Dalí House Museum in Portlligat, just a short walk from the centre of Cadaqués.
Many guests combine a visit to the museum with a voyage along the Cap de Creus coastline, as the departure point is located immediately beside the museum.

No. The cultural Dalí Boat Tour aboard Gala is independently operated by Bella Mar Cadaqués S.L. and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí (Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation) or the Salvador Dalí House Museum.

Yes. The dock is located directly in front of the Salvador Dalí House Museum in Portlligat, making it easy to plan both experiences on the same day. We recommend checking museum ticket availability in advance.

Each voyage along the Cap de Creus Natural Park includes:
A safety briefing with your skipper

Private voyages may also include optional catering:

Yes. All shared and private voyages include a swim stop in the clear waters of the Cap de Creus coastline.
Swim time varies depending on the length of your voyage:
1.5 hour voyages include a short swim stop
2.5 hour and 3 hour voyages include extended swim time
Snorkeling equipment is provided for private tours, and is available to rent for the shared tours.

Shared cultural voyages are capped at 10 guests to preserve comfort and intimacy.
Private voyages can accommodate up to 11 guests.

All voyages include chilled water and soft drinks available to purchase on board.
You may also bring your own picnic or preferred beverages to enjoy. Alcohol consumption remains at the discretion of the skipper for health and safety.
For Private Voyages we offer three curated enhancements:
Breakfast on Board - 15 € per person
Artisanal croissants, freshly squeezed orange juice, seasonal fruit, and a selection of soft drinks.Local Tapas and Wine - 25 € per person
Authentic Cadaqués anchovies, Spanish cured hams and cheeses, traditional tomato bread (pa amb tomàquet), typical accompaniments, local wine, and fresh fruit.Cadaqués Taps and Wine - 15 € per person
A taste of local history featuring Taps — traditional sponge cakes unique to Cadaqués — paired with local wine.

RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS

Tickets are paid in full at the time of reservation. -
Yes. Private voyages require a deposit at the time of booking to secure your exclusive departure aboard Gala.
The remaining balance is paid directly to your skipper on the day of your voyage.

The remaining balance is settled directly with your skipper at the end of your private voyage upon returning to Portlligat.
We are happy to facilitate card payments, but recommend cash for your convenience. Due to the secluded nature of Port Lligat, mobile coverage at the dock can be inconsistent, occasionally affecting terminal connectivity. Please note that card transactions incur an additional 5% processing fee.

You may reschedule or cancel your booking for a full refund of your ticket or deposit if done at least 7 days before departure.
Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable.
For Private Voyages As Gala is reserved exclusively for your party, cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 7 days of your voyage are non-refundable, and the full balance of the cost of the voyage remains payable.
If weather conditions are unsafe, we will reschedule your voyage or refund your deposit in full.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Yes. Guests of all ages are welcome aboard. Children aged 9 and under can access the tour free of charge.
Children must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian throughout the voyage.
Lifejackets for adults and children are available onboard.

Pets are welcome onboard but must remain under the care of their owner at all times.

Yes. There is public parking near Portlligat Beach, just minutes from the dock in front of the Salvador Dalí House Museum.

Personal snorkelling equipment (some equipment is available to rent onboard)

Yes. Your safety is our priority. Our skippers are fully licensed, and all required safety equipment, lifejackets, and communication tools are onboard.
The skipper may adjust or cancel a voyage if conditions are unsafe.

All required safety gear, lifejackets, and emergency communication tools are provided. Skippers may adjust or cancel experiences at their discretion for safety reasons.

While we strive to be inclusive, guests should be able to step on and off the boat with minimal assistance. If you have specific mobility concerns please let us know at the time of booking.
If you have any severe allergies (especially regarding our food enhancements), please let us know at the time of booking.

Expectant mothers are very welcome aboard, but we recommend consulting with a physician before booking to ensure personal comfort and safety.

Your safety is our paramount priority. We maintain the highest standards to ensure your voyage is secure.
Safety equipment: Our vessels are equipped with all required safety gear, including emergency communication tools and lifejackets.
Lifejackets: Lifejackets for children and adults are available for everyone on board. While not mandatory in calm conditions, they are always available on request for your peace of mind.
Footwear & Movement: For your safety and to protect the timber of our decks, we recommend wearing soft-soled shoes or being barefoot.
Skipper qualifications: Your voyage is led by a qualified and professional, local skipper with extensive knowledge of the Cadaqués coastline and maritime safety protocols.
Skipper Authority: For the well-being of all, the skipper has absolute discretion to adjust or cancel a voyage if they deem conditions unsafe. The enjoyment of alcohol on board is also strictly at the skipper's professional discretion.
In the unlikely event of an emergency: We ask that you follow the professional guidance and instructions of your skipper at all times. Their expertise and training ensure the well-being of everyone on board.
Vessel Maintenance & Assurance: Our vessels are meticulously maintained to ensure every voyage is as seamless as it is secure.
